Yes this is a philosophy i live by. It"s really all in our heads for sure. A great novel to piggy back off the one you mentioned is Law of Succeeding or Thank and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Additionally another one is Psycho Cybernetics. So much of that which we do or don"t do is because of our greatest thinking. Great new novel that"s a MUST reas - Money - Master the Game - Tony Robbins - awesome!
